

The State House to Be Illuminated in Purple in Honor of World Alzheimer's Day
This lighting ceremony recognizes all persons and families living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia The Dominica Dementia Foundation and The Office of The President have collaborated to show support for persons living with dementia. The State House will be illuminated in purple from 18 – 21 September in observance of World Alzheimer's Day, a global event dedicated to raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia and to show solidarity


PREVO CINEMALL Honours Famous Kalinago Artist
At the opening of the Grand Kalinago Week Expo at the PREVO CINEMALL on 17th September, a famous Kalinago Artist Mr. Faustulus Frederick was awarded the PREVO CINEMALL Cultural Heritage Award in recognition of his work in the Arts, History and Cultural Preservation of the Kalinago People and of Dominica. Mr. Faustulus Frederick was also Kalinago Chief from 1975 to 1978 when Dominica became independent. In 2024 the PREVO CINEMALL’S Cultural Award was awarded to famous Dominica


DFA ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN KICK-OFF TIME FOR DOMINICA VS ANGUILLA FRIENDLY
The Dominica Football Association (DFA) wishes to inform the public, supporters and members of the media that the international friendly between Dominica and Anguilla, scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2026, at Windsor Park Sports Stadium, will now kick off at 11:00 a.m., instead of the previously announced 8:00 p.m. start. The change has become necessary due to certain logistical considerations related to the upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches being hosted in Dominic
