Government to go to parliament in the first quarter of 2024 to give the electoral commission authority to effect changes within the electoral reform agenda

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says his government is committed to advancing the electoral reform process.

He says his plan is to go to parliament in the first quarter of this year in that regard.

However; he says they will not engage in any matter which requires an amendment to the constitution in the first phase.
