Miriam Gates Kerr, a Speech Language Pathologist affiliated with the World Pediatric Project (WPP), announced the organization's intention to revisit Dominica in the near future. This decision stems from their thorough evaluation of 100 children in the country. Kerr underscored that a notable number of children on the spectrum were identified during the assessment. She highlighted the positive outcomes of the project, emphasizing the sharing of valuable techniques and knowledge with the parents of these children.

Expanding on this, Kerr explained that in each assessment conducted by the project, a meticulous review of the progress of every child on the spectrum is carried out. The primary objective is to customize strategies, techniques, and resources based on each child's developmental stage, providing parents with effective tools for improved communication.
