Dr Thomson Fontaine defeated Clement Marcellin 64votes to 59 for leadership at its Delegates Conference on Sunday.
Marcellin declined to seek reelection for the position of Deputy Leader as he felt in the last term enough was not done. He has also cited the absenteeism of Dr Thomson Fontaine which made it strenuous on his part to continue in that role. Attorney. Ronald Charles was elected unopposed on the weekend.
Lennox Linton is President, and Hector John is Vice President.
